This place is awesome, literally have a beer menu 5 pages long. This place is dripping with personality. The bar looks like it was imported from Germany along with the beer. The bartenders all speak German and were German dresses. All this adds up to a great authentic atmosphere. This is the place to be if you’re looking for an German Style New York night.

Do you like pinna coladas… and getting insane baked goods! Dominique Ansell in Downtown Manhattan is the perfect place. Now when I say perfect place I mean this place has the most creative, delicious baked goods in all of New York

The chocolate chip shots as seen above are my personal favorite. If some reason you don't like that have so much more to choose from. The marshmallow s'more with ice cream on the inside! That's not even what their most famous for. If you want there world famous macaroons you better get there before 10 or they’ll be all sold out!

8. Escape the Room NYC (Entertainment)

 

Got 60 minutes and a sharp mind to spare? Escape the Room NYC is a hell of a time. You are in a locked room for a hour  with only one way to get out. The Key. Sounds simple at first but then you realize the key is hidden behind a bunch and insane challenges and puzzles that you need more than 60 minutes to figure out. Whether with your family or on a hot date this is a must to check out.

7. Lucky Strike (Bowling alley)

Located on the outskirts of time square Lucky Strike definitely qualifies as underrated. This bowling alley is notorious  for its high profile celebrities sightings. When you are tired of bowling it also doubles as a disco lounge where things are known to get a little crazy. Be warned must be 21+ to enter over 8pm.

6. Peter Luger's Steakhouse (Restaurant)

If you are looking for a high quality meal there is no where better to go in New York than Peter Luger’s Steakhouse. I don’t know if it qualifies as underrated but you have to forgive me because it's just TOO GOOD. The steak taste like butter sprinkled in heaven and the ambience of the restaurant is high quality. Don’t be surprised if you see wall street titans like Carl Icahn rumor has it it is his favorite restaurant.

5. Intrepid Museum (Museum)

 

Are you looking to have a good, wholesome time with the family? Then you must check out the Intrepid Museum located on a war ship… Yes a war ship. This museum is filled with American military history and features actual planes from World War II. A great way to educate your kids while having a good time.

4. Lavo (Nightclub)

 

They call it The City that Never Sleeps  for a reason. Lavo is the place to be if you want to party New York Style. Don’t drink on an empty stomach the food there is amazing. Be prepared to see some famous celebrities or supermodels they frequent at this club.

Are you in the mood for chocolate? Max Brenner's restaurant is like if Charlie and the Chocolate factory had a restaurant and then added another gallon of chocolate.
